Worldwide enthusiasm for GoPro has reached a dazzling total with the release of the HD Hero2, so what’s the deal with their new camera? To cut a long story short, it brings professional low light performance, the ability to capture ten 11 megapixel photos in one second and up to 0.5 second time-lapse photos.

The GoPro HD 3d HERO kit will be able to combine two of their current HD Hero cameras in one housing. Included in the 3D HERO Kit will be a synchronization cable meaning a full high definition 1080p 3D output can be achieved.

This GoPro 960 is worth a serious look. Its the budget version of the its bigger brother the HD Hero Camera which films in 1080p HD.

Cape Town big-wave surfer Frank Solomon recently had this close call with an estimated three-metre shark while sailing through the Bassas da India. Solomon and fellow Cape Town surfer, James Taylor, are currently on a journey across the Indian Ocean. The crew were anchored and having lunch on deck when they spotted a couple of the sharks swimming around. “I thought it would be a good idea to take my GoPro (camera) and swim with them” wrote Solomon on his expedition blog. “What I didn’t know was that they were Zambezi sharks.”... 

Thanks to our Spanish friends of Vyreco and The Clock Staff, Ivan Cervantes, the five times Enduro World Champion had the possibility to wear an HD170 from Drift Innovation during the last race of the season in the Spanish National Championship. Ivan was delighted with the experience and has acquired an HD170 for his personal use. 

This past Sunday saw a full page article  published with one focus - action cameras! We were very happy to work with the paper to supply the needed cameras and to make sure that they gave each of the action cams a full and unforgiving review. 

As suspected, Oregon Scientific ATC9K had a rate of 3 stars and Drift HD170,  4 stars with "The best video and audio quality".

The MCN Motorcycle Show has been a fantastic success for anyone visiting the event and also for us on our stand at the show. Mike Catt, Rugby World Cup Winner and coach of the London Irish premiership team went on a search to find an innovative way to improve his backlines ability to see what he can see. The answer came to him in the form of the X170 Action Camera. Now he can review each play from the player's point of view. 

"It's just brilliant" was Catt's comment when first watching back Chris Malone's point of view after a quick run around on the pitch. Catt and game analyst Richy Whiffin are going to use the X170 Action Camera in training sessions throughout the season so we're hoping this can contribute to their continuing success.
