Stupendous Value by Mike Barnett

I bought my 960 Go Pro just over a year ago and used it throughout 2011 for windsurfing and Mountain Biking......in both cases its performance is severely tested...and it scores 10/10 in my book. It has withstood ( and recorded!) wipeouts both on the water and in the mud, had to deal with freezing cold water and buring hot sun ( not on the same day!). The colours are glorious, the clarity of picture amazing and it is simple to operate. It is now the lowest price Go Pro and if you are not interested in LCD screens, remotes, remote mics etc...then at this price you will get nothing better. Compared to the full 1080 model (GoPro1) the main differences are that the highest definition is 960 rather than 1080 ( I challenge you to tell the difference!) and there is no higher frame speed available ( i.e 50/60 fps rather than 25/30 fps). Finally there is no port to take all the bells and whistles (LCD etc). So in summary, if you want Go Pro HD performance in a rugged package at a really stunning low price..this is the model for you. Even with the HERO2 now available if I was buying another Go Pro it would be the 960...why pay more?
