Brilliantly simple solution to an old problem... by Doug Bertram

Using a go pro underwater, the blurred images were a pain and i often missed detail. This simple fix allows you to attach a new filter to the front that prevents the image distortion. The flat plate filter acts as a screen and keeps the water off your domed lens on the gopro and doesn't affect the waterproof housing. Very simple to install, although the silicone can be a fiddle at times. You can also swap the clear lens give for any standard 55mm filter to improve videos, i use a UKPRO filter that is custom made to a perfect fit. The only problem with the whole set up is the lack of lens cap!

Genius item, definitely worth the splurge! by Rosalind Lawrence

I use my gopro underwater a lot and found the standard curved lens does not give a sharp image underwater. The flat lenses you can buy are good, and do sharpen the image, but you get a fair bit of vignetting and loose the awesome wide angle. The Blurfix lens enables you to keep the wide angle as it places a large flat "screen" in front of your existing lens, like a pair of swimming goggles for your gopro!! Genius! And I've not noticed any vignetting either. The "screen" is a standard 55mm filter, so you can buy others filters for it too, particularly useful if you take it scuba diving. The only thing you might not like is that you have to silicone the Blurfix to your waterproof housing, so its a permanent attachment, but I just bought another housing so I can switch between the two, which I've found actually saves time as you're not changing the lenses when you're out and about, so you can't lose those tiny screws!
So overall, pretty awesome! 9/10 (would be 10/10 if it came with a lens cap!!)
