The POV.T Action Camera is a fully integrated point-of-view (POV) video
system that's waterproof, dustproof and shock-resistant. The system
includes a mountable camera head, built-in video recorder, wireless
remote, mounts, 4Gb SD Card and software for managing your
point-of-view videos.
The POV.T can be used in every tactical market. It has adaptable
mounts included that allow you to mount the camera head to almost
anything that you can think of. Since it is waterproofed you can take it through rivers and rain storms without having to be concerned about the camera. The recorder can be taken 1m underwater and the
camera head can go down to 10m (there is a waterproof pouch available as an accessory so that the recorder can be waterproofed to 3m).
Filming is made very easy with the wireless remote which works up to 3
meters without needed line of sight. Once the camera is set up then the remote
is all you need to operate it. The POV.T was designed to work with a 8Gb SD card and this will give you 6hrs+
when recording at 720 x 480 which is the highest resolution and is
close to DVD quality.
To download the footage from the POV.T you can insert the SD card into
your computer or simply connect the POV.T directly to your computer
with the supplied USB cable.

of two mount attachments; the first is a base plate which has holes for velcro strapping or cable ties, there are adhesive pads that you can

that it can be screwed onto any standard camera tripod or other mount
with an 8mm thread. The second mount attachment is a pole mount that allows the camera to be mounted to any pole for looking around dangerous corners or for mounting to gun barrels.

The menu on the unit is very user friendly and allows you to customise
the sound levels, the picture quality and all other settings very

the user TAGs and saves key video segments. In CLIP mode, video is
continuously recorded as in traditional video recording. Recording,
playback and set-up are controlled by buttons on the POV.1 Recorder.

The POV.T records its videos using MPEG4, so you can use your Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Mac computer to view them.
Mac:
Plug the POV.T into a USB port or insert the SD card into a card reader
in your computer. After a simple installation of quicktime components
for MPEG-4, you'll be able to browse all of the videos, view them
through Quicktime, and edit them in iMovie!
PC:
Install V.I.O.'s POV Manager software: simple, intuitive software that
allows you to view, edit, and share video easily. For example:
* A “POV Recorder” window shows thumbnails of videos saved on the
connected POV.T, and a “POV Library” window shows thumbnails of videos
stored on your hard drive.
* Drag and drop video clips from the POV
Recorder to the POV Library to move them between the POV.T and your
computer, or drag onto a play area to play them back in either actual
size or full screen.
* See tags on the timeline during playback, and extract clips to the “Storyboard” window to quickly edit your video.
* Use the “Share” function to email your clips and upload them to V.I.O. where they can be seen by your friends.
