The ChaseCam PDR100 is the latest solid state recorder and is one of the smallest, lightest and most-robust on the market. It records onto a compact flash card in MPEG2 which can then easily be transferred to a PC for editing or burning to DVD.
There are no moving parts making it ideal for the most extreme conditions and recording situations. Given it's high recording resolution, it is perfect for our 520 or 580 TV line helmet camera.
The recorder has the following features: - Images stored directly onto compact flash cards (Any size - Must be 45x minimum) - The recorder powers the bullet camera - A microphone is built-in, however this can be changed to take an external microphone or a co-pilot headset input. - Power can either be provided by 4 AA Li-Ion batteries, a 12v external batteries or it can be hard wired into the car/bike battery. - Recording is controlled by a single press of a button or by a LANC Remote (either v1.4 or 1.6) - It is light-weight (420g) - A built-in LCD screen provides visual notifications and menu options
