Given the nature of extreme sports, the cameras are subjected to all sorts of harsh treatments, although we have ensured that weak points in the camera design are minimised, e.g. trough strengthened cabling and stress resistant connections inside the cameras, damage can occur to the camera cable.

- Make a loop with the helmet camera cable and overlap with the camera.
- Using electrical tape or Gotta tape, fix the wire loop to the camera body.
- This will ensure that if the camera cable does suddenly suffer from a shock the cable has some slack on it before putting stress on the actual joint in the back of the camera .
