About Us - Action Cameras

Action Cameras was launched in January 2006 by Sab Jhooti and Robin Parker. The objective of the company was to lead the way in bringing the latest developments in helmet camera technology to Europe , provide excellent customer service and have fun while doing it.

Our customers all have a passion for extreme sports. We wanted to provide products that would enable our customers to record and share their experiences and get more out of something they all ready love. Everyone has different budgets and requirements and we set out to provide the widest range of products so there is something for everyone.

Over the last two years nearly every model of helmet cam sold in Europe was first launched by Action Cameras including the ATC3K, POV.1, Blackeye, Digital Hero 3, Motorsport Hero and Action Camera bullet cameras to name just a few. In addition to being first to launch new products we have been at the forefront of marketing the whole concept of helmet cameras and you can see from our press section we have appeared regularly in national press, action sports magazines and TV.

Since launch we have quickly developed a reputation of providing high quality equipment backed by great customer support. We have provided camera systems to several F1 teams, Red Bull air racers, Super Bike teams, Rally Teams, production companies, BBC and thousands of action sports enthusiasts across Europe .

Our team has grown over the last two years and we only take on people who have a passion for what they do share our desire for wanting to build us into one of Europe 's leading action sports companies.

In addition to providing our products to customers across the world through our website, we also distribute a number of the products we sell to trade customers across Europe .

In June 2007 we launched actioncameras.fr and in September 2008 we launched actioncameras.es. We will be expanding further into Europe with more local language websites so we can better serve our customers.

This year (2008) promises to be exciting one for us as we recently sponsored the Tena for Men Honda Super Bike Team and the www.bikeradar.com mountain bike team. We'll keep you posted about the progress of the teams as well as new sponsorship deals we will soon be announcing.
