This is the first underwater camera that has impressed us on all three of the important factors when buying a camera like this; price, quality and functionality. The price tag is affordable and unlike other underwater cameras at similar prices, this one actually does a terrific job.
It is very easy to use and the 5 Megapixel resolution is great. It shoots stills at 5MP and video at 18-20 frames per second. It will take SD cards up to 2GB which will give you about 65 minutes of recording time. The AV cable lets you play your movies and pictures straight onto the TV, the waterproof housing is safe down to 15 metres, and of course you can take it out of its case and use it as a regular digital camera. You can even connect it up to use as a webcam.
It runs off simply two AAA batteries, which means that you can just carry spares for when you're on the go. All in all, it gets the Action Cameras thumbs-up.
